Hi Joseph..hope you're good and well...love the blogs and the audio.
Just wanted to know what your program: 'Language & Power' is exactly about.
Can you give me some specific information please.

All is well ... thank you, and thank you.
"Language and Power" most stately stated will be a program about how communication, and specifically the languge you use to communication - both your language choices and the manner in which you present them, impact you power and influence with others.
This is largely a program about developing and using your personal presence in a way that is "elite" - the kind of personal presence that one in ten million are "born" with, and only one in a million ever typically develop. Yet there are "rules" to how these folks present themselves - what they do and how they do it.
The key in this program will be the self-evident, obviousness of what I will be presenting - making it immmediately available to all those who attend. You will have an immediate impact in your life and the ability to get more done with others than you ever thought would be possible without this knowledge and these skills. Think of it simply as the equivalent of spending twenty years studying vebal aikido ... and becoming a fouth-degree blackbelt in three days!
For instance imagine being able, without hesitation or fear, to speak to a group of people you've never met before, who don't know you or expect for you to speak and have them totally mesmerized within the first two minutes by speaking about yourself and something that is commonplace for you, something you know as well as your name - it's a "trick" of every major speaker and nobody even notices it - it's that powerful, effective and obvious (that's part of the "trick" keeping it obvious)! I personally did this and will tell you all about it and then have you do it - all within the first morning we're together. That's just one thing of the dozens I'll be presenting.

I ask because I'd like to know how this training "Language and Power" DIFFERS from other 'similar' training such as Charisma Enhancement (Bandler)...and Presenting Magically (Tad James), for example.
What specific skills do YOU teach that are NOT present in the above programs?
And if I re-read what you wrote again, whaty is the obvious 'it' that I'm looking for. Why don't you please simply tell me, to save time.
If I want to come on this course, I really need you to answer my questions.

I LOVE YOUR PERSISTENCE!
Regardless of how I say I don't intend to answer you come back to me anyway ... how can I resist? Maybe you don't need this program at all!
I appreciate your interest, I really do - I just don't intend to convince anyone to attend this program, and at the same time if it's for you I'd love for you to be there - especially when I see how you respond.
Anyway ... let me take you up on your request and give you just a bit more (although I won't give you the answer to the "obvious").
This program is unique in a few different ways:
1. It will lay out for you in a fully conscious way everything I'm doing - it is NOT based in "unconscious" installation (I don't believe in the Unconscious).
2. The emphasis will be on simply, truly conversational language - NOT on sophisticated hypnotic patterns. The usage form that I present will sound like you talking with people as you normally would - the difference will be in how you "intend" your messages to get the results you want.
3. Many other programs are about how you can "manipulate" others in one way or another based on:
a) Sophisticated language patterns of persuasion
b) Hypnotic misdirection and ambiguity
c) Changing yourself in some significant way so that you somehow become more persuasive/influential
d) Learn the "techniques" of presentation - e.g.: projection, framing ...
Well all of these things are useful for something ... and they are not what this program is about.
(I know all about these kinds of approaches - I teach these patterns too, in other programs for another purposes)
It is about just what I said - becoming a fourth-degree black-belt in verbal/interpersonal communication. Knowing exactly how to get results with other people - period/full stop.
Now, "How is this different?"
It's different in that regardless of who you are and how you now communicate the patterns of power in language are present in what you already do - to a large extent it's a matter of emphasis and inflection. Change these and you AND your message becomes super-charged and irresistible - this the essence of charisma.
You've noticed this in people who have personal presence - a kind of primal energy. They are not necessarily erudite speakers, nor eloquent in their presentation - BUT THEY ARE POWERFUL IN THE EFFECT OF THEIR PRESENCE! Sometimes these people actually speak very little (another secret of the trade - it's knowing both when to speak and exactly what to say, as well as how to say it, that makes all the difference in the world)- they can get their results with others based on the force of their presence alone.
If you've ever watched a young star coming through the system you've seen them develop this quality. While the nascent form may have been there from the beginning there's usually a moment when they "turn on" and assume their full power as they stars they are - from that point forward they have this power. Then some go further and learn how to refine it and give it an edge - this is "Power and Language" persona-fied.
If you wanted me to sum it up as simply as possible - in comparison to the comparisons you point out in your request I'd say the difference is that this material is "RAW" - it's the difference between the primal energy of a lion or tiger with the more refined energy of a domesticated cat - both are effective and in their own ways beautiful to watch in action - but only one sends chills up and down your spine.
In some ways there is no comparison - the only question you really have to ask and answer for yourself is do you want this kind of RAW & UNADULTRATED POWER at the base of how you operate - and present when you're with others - it might not be pretty all the time, but there won't be any questions left about what it is you want or the fact that you're going to get it ... pure and simple ... purrr-fect.
